Wing Chun

Wing Chun's "purpose is to attack an attacker with more skill and more science than what the attacker can muster. It requires hard work & dedication to master, and it requires a particular mind-set that few people are prepared to deal with, and it requires an appreciation that developing such skills will incur pain, bruising, sweat and occasionally bleeding. Hence, for most people seeking so-called “self-defense”, they’d be better off buying a gun, locking themselves in the house, or learning how to disappear. To effectively deal with violence requires an understanding and acceptance of what real violence is – most people want a quick-fix and seek the answers in unrealistic training methods that DO NOT WORK under real conditions. That is why Wing Chun is NOT for everyone."
