The Dragon Institute is a Wing Chun school for children and adults martial arts in Laguna Niguel, California & surrounding South Orange County, CA martial arts enthusiasts including practical self-defense, realistic martial arts, traditional martial arts, women's self-defense, children's martial arts, traditional chinese martial arts, private lessons, personal self-defense training, close-quarters combat, Chinese boxing, pugilism, trapping, chi sao, functional self-defense, weapons defense and hand-to-hand training.
Wing Chun was the martial arts style that influenced the life of Bruce Lee. Both his life philosophy and his personal martial arts approach were guided by the concept-based art. His teacher, Ip Man, is the method of martial arts our school teaches.

The City of Laguna Niguel was organized as Orange County's 29th city in 1989. Right in the middle of "South County," it is pretty much halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, consists of 13.8 square miles, and is surrounded by the cities of Dana Point, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach. Mostly residential, Laguna Niguel's is right by the Pacific Ocean providing an ideal climate which allows for year-round enjoyment of its beautiful parks and nearby attractions. Over one-third of Laguna Niguel is designated for open space with two community parks, 22 neighborhood parks, Laguna Niguel Regional Park, two small county parks and a community pool. Laguna Niguel students are served by the Capistrano Unified School District. Located within the city are six elementary schools and one middle school. The high schools serving Laguna Niguel students are located in Dana Point and Aliso Viejo. Saddleback College, a community college located within a few miles of Laguna Niguel, provides college for more than 20,000 local students. The city also offers many community activities for teens.
Laguna Niguel is just minutes from our martial arts school in located right on Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point. From Laguna Niguel, you can take either I-5 to the Beach Cities exit or Golden Lantern straight to PCH.
