Wing Chun Strategy

It’s fine if other martial artists step back as a strategy for self-defense. For us that's considered retreating. But that’s not how we roll!

Wing Chun advances at every opportunity. There is no stepping back!

And even though our martial art is for self-defense, when someone wants to test us, they are the one's stepping back... time and time again!

The attacker gets put on the defensive IMMEDIATELY. No fancy techniques, set-ups, combos, locks or holds. Just straight to the point. An onslaught of close-quarter strikes to incapacitate the attacker in the quickest way possible.

But retreat? I just don't think it's a part of us.
