Kenneth Chung Honored with Award for Sifu of the Year

Kenneth Chung was recently honored with the "Sifu of the Year" award by the World Ving Tsun Athletic Association. Pictured here presenting the award at the Hong Kong Ving Tsun Athletic Association are Grandmaster Chan Chee Man (L), Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin (M), and Grandmaster Ip Ching (R).

Kenneth Chung (aka Chung Maanin) has been studying and teaching Wing Chun for nearly 50 years. He is a  lineage holder of the Leung Sheung  method of Wing Chun.

Kenneth Chung's Wing Chun approach emphasizes structure and relaxation over speed and strength, resulting in a soft yet powerful force.

In 2003, the City of Cupertino, California proclaimed August 23 to be Kenneth Chung Day in acknowledgment of his service to the Cupertino and San Francisco Bay Area communities and to the thousands of Wing Chun students he has taught throughout the United States.

Kenneth Chung currently teaches at the Stanford University Wing Chun. He also conducts seminars worldwide.
