Sparring - Part 1

"Although it has a number of tangible benefits, sparring is much more of a sports-based training paradigm. Contrary to what mainstream martial arts believe, many sparring-specific skills simply do not transfer to street self-preservation or realistic self-defense. Therefore our focus lies much more on awareness development where visual (no contact) and tactile (contact) reflexes are trained to a habitual level."
