Wing Chun meets Chinese Medicine

Our own, Kate Fennelly, LAc, during a recent acupuncture session for our group. Kate is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese doctor of herbal medicine. She offers her services on a periodic basis to our group. Its amazing to "connect the dots" between Chinese medicine and the art of Wing Chun. Its also well known that the legendary Wing Chun practitioner and Chinese doctor, Leung Jan, played a pivotal role in Wing Chun's evolution. The acupuncture sessions simply drive home the fact that Wing Chun is an internal art with deep connections to the concepts of the Chinese energetic systems.

I received acupuncture in my ears opening the channels and then did a little Chi Sao with Kate. The energy was amazing. I've never felt so in touch with the flow of energy of all of the Yin and Yang meridians from the Lung meridian all the way through to the Liver meridian.

We all thank you Kate. Thank you for the new acupunture charts for the kwoon. You are amazing!
