Qi (Chi) isn't what you think it is

Don't think of Qi (Chi) as some esoteric mumbo jumbo made up in kung fu movies. Chi isn't flying in the air from rooftop to rooftop. And Chi isn't a so-called Chi master that tells you that they can stop your heart without ever touching you. These things aren't Chi, their fake.

However, the mind is much more powerful than we like to admit. Many times, these so called Chi Masters really believe in their own magic abilities. They aren't trying to be frauds. They buy into these insane abilities so whole-heartedly that they end up fooling themselves. These guys are the one's that really misrepresent Chi. People think of Chi in this negative context and discount the first mention of it.

Really, Chi is just the Chinese word for energy. Whether its the kind of energy that makes ocean waves move or the kind that we use to move our bodies, its all Chi.
