Wing Chun Body Structure
Learning how to connect the parts of your body and use them as one is a key to issue what I refer to as whole-body power. Too many people don't understand how power is developed in Wing Chun and are still trying to finding power after many many years of practice. They just weren't ever told key principles of good structure. If they were, they don't practice them.
Look at Bruce Lee above as compared to Yip Man. This simple picture tells a lot. It tells me that Bruce didn't know the principles of good posture. It tells me that Bruce just didn't understand how to connect the different parts of his body. It tells me that Yip Man had it. Yip's lower back and pelvis were tucked perfectly in order to gain as much power as possible from his legs.
