Orange County Wing Chun

Orange County Wing Chun Kung Fu school, The Dragon Institute, is headquarters for the California Wing Chun Association. It promotes the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun in Orange County, CA as well as throughout the state of California. 

Orange County is a county in Southern California with a population of 3,056,865 (larger than that of 21 states). Orange County is the second most populous county in the state of California, and the fifth most populous in the United States. Although the county is most well known for its high financial affluence, political conservancy and cities such as Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, the art of Wing Chun is well represented here in Orange County, aka OC.

Orange County Wing Chun (ocwingchun.com) showcases a true dedication to the art of Wing Chun. Wing Chun is a true Shaolin Kung Fu style that was passed down by family to the late Yip Man (aka Ip Man) who is most famous for being Bruce Lee's teacher.

Although Bruce Lee was Ip Man's most famous student, Ip Man had many great Wing Chun students. His senior-most Wing Chun student was Leung Sheung. All of Ip Man's Wing Chun students looked up to Leung Sheung including Bruce Lee. However, Leung Sheung was the humblest of students knowing he had nothing to prove. He preferred to allow his Wing Chun do the talking and chose to credit Ip Man for his own expertise rather than exalt himself.
